I bought this based on the one review that was available at the time I ordered. I wanted a small armoire for a guest room and did not want a predominately red finish. The review I read said this chest is more brown than red and that is very accurate. It is a well made piece, especially for the price, and is perfect for a small tv. I find the drawers to be very generous in size. I have placed this in a room with two beautiful antiques and it blends very well.

I just received this item for my 3 year old son's room to hold his small t.v. and serve as a chest also.It's exactly what I wanted! I was concerned about the color b/c it says it's "cherry" (I didn't want red)which I assume means it's more red but it's the exact color you see on the website. It's more brown than red.It appears that the doors fold all the way back (see the photo of the item in black) but they do not. The drawers are not deep as stated in the description but that was not why I bought this item. I didn't give it 5 stars b/c I just received it. I do not know how it will hold up or if it will scratch easily. All in all I'm very pleased with my purchase! I will purchase from this site in the future!
