Comments about South Shore City Life 50" TV Stand in Honeydew:
The stand holds my Panasonic 42 inch plasma as well as the Uverse box, PS3, and HD-DVD player just fine. The biggest problem is that the drawers are not deep enough. I can get one row of blurays in each drawer but its not deep enough for two rows and the space that is left is hard to find a use for. The stand is pretty sturdy but they should have put a bit more thought into what users would want to use the drawer space for.

the looks are cool but more storage is needed, the drawers are great for holding plenty of dvd's but not all of them as our last unit did.
Service and delivery comments:
delivery was faster that I thought, the package was heavy and the unit was slightly damaged but we'll deal with it.

Comments about South Shore City Life 50" TV Stand in Honeydew:
Found it easy to assemble, with all parts needed for assembly.[...]The holes to pass the cables out the back (one per side) were ridiculuously small (i.e. 1.5" circles), so I cut them quite a lot bigger with a jigsaw. Easy to do during assembly, and with the audio components in front, you can't see the holes, but I can still reach through.Overall, I like the unit - open design, holds my components, supports the weight of 50" TV, drawers for stuff.

Comments about South Shore City Life 50" TV Stand in Honeydew:
This is a contemporary, fairly priced stand that works perfectly well with our large plasma TV, dvd, xbox, etc. Because we have alot of accessories, we opted not to attach the silver colored flimsy particle board backing. I think it looks better without it.My only complaint about the stand is that the front of both the top and bottom shelf came in with significant crush defects. We called the number given by the manufacturer. They were very easy to work with and the replacement parts were sent to my home within a week or so.I would buy this product again.

Comments about South Shore City Life 50" TV Stand in Honeydew:
Excellent product. Took a couple of hours to put together, but we really took our time and did it right. Pressboard, with the disadvantages that come with that, but as long as you're not looking to move it around fully loaded it shouldn't be a problem.
