Overall I'm fairly happy with the chest. The color is a lovely dark brown, the pulls are sophisticated, and the lines are very clean. It looks like a much more expensive piece (unless you're looking closely). There are 5 drawers that support weight very well, but they didn't end up holding as much as I'd like. Also, although the construction is pretty solid, the surface dents pretty easily, and mine came with a big scratch all along one side. I'm normally pretty quick to put furniture together, but this one took more time than I anticipated. It was worth it though, as the drawers do pull very smoothly and I'm not worried about it falling apart.
