We were looking for furniture for our two year olds new "big boy room". We didn't want to spend alot of money right now but wanted something that looked nice for him. We were nervous purchasing off the internet without being able to see and touch the furniture. But we are delighted with this. I don't think it will last 20 years but I do feel like it will get him through several years. And I won't be as heartbroken when it ends up with a little damage, which is going to happen in a childs room. It looks nice, drawers pull/push well, not difficult to assemble. I definately recommend it. [...] I will be using this website again.

The Dresser is nice; but it was very flimsy. It appeared as though it would fall apart. There is not enough hardware to help secure it in plce. We had to add more screws.

Like stated in the original review I was kind of surprised to see the construction materials when I unpacked it. I have put togther quite a few pressed board pieces and I have never seen plastic hinges and the attachment posts that were included. Installation was quite simple though, tedious, yet simple as I think all chest of drawers are to put together. Watch the instructions carefully, especially when assembling the drawers. Make note of the holes and which finished side is facing out. You only get one chance with the drawers as the bottom plate is attached with ring shank nails and it isn't going to give you another opportunity to fix a mistake (just trust me!) :) Other than that I have to say it is a good dresser. The drawers are a little "tight" to slide in and out but I found that is generally due to the plastic sliding rails aren't all the way in, go back and tap them flush. I would buy another. I have paid more for less quality that's for sure. I would recommend it to a friend. Especially for kiddos or toddlers. I think if they are older than 10 years you might want to look at something with a little more storage as the drawer space is on the small side.

This dresser is great. It's sturdy and has good construction. The sliders are a material I'm unfamiliar with, and I was pretty unsure at first, but it seems to be holding up well. The drawers open very smoothly and close securely. The only downside is they require a bit of strength to open. My four-year-old can open them, but not easily. This has some benefit, however, since the drawers can't close on his fingers (as with metal glides).
