If you're looking to save money this is what you want. It's affordable, but that means it's not the most durable. You need to treat it gently. I wouldn't recommend this to someone who is rough on furniture or has young children. The head board has no instruction on how to attach it to the platform, so a little common sense and ingenuity is required.

This is a good furniture set for the money. If you don't abuse this set, I would expect it to last a good 10 years. I would not recommend it for kids or in a situation where it is going to be treated roughly as the finish can be chipped, and tends to be on the edges in transit. But it's nothing that won't happen eventually and tended to be in non-viewing areas anyways. [...]

I really enjoy the look of the Soth Shore Portsmouth Platform Bedroom Set. The directions were clear and the furniture feels really sturdy. The only complaint that I have is about the delivery. Some pieces weren't boxed very well so when I took them out to put them together there were little cracks and scratches on some of the wood. Not all of it just a couple of corners of the dresser. Also the back panel that I received for the nightstand is a little bit bigger than the space its supposed to cover. Overall I would say that I'm satisfied with the furniture.
