It was a bit time consuming to assemble and we needed a power drill with screw bit to put in all the screws, but it was solid and sturdy when finished. It would be very hard for one person to assemble. You need a holder

I love this little chest. It gives us a lot of extra storrage for minimal space. The drawers occassionally stick, but it is worth the price. It was easy to assemble.

We are enjoying our lingerie dresser, which fits nicely into our guest bedroom. The spacing between the drawers is a little inconsistent though. We really like the scrolly design on the bottom of this and the night stand. Thanks. Hans and Judy

I bought this as an affordable storage solution. It does seem to be sturdy, but the assembly process is not for amateurs. Only problem I have had is I don't think I screwed in the drawer glides perfectly flush and the drawers want to stick. Be sure to do that particular step very carefully. The only other thing is the screws are exposed on the outter sides. It is a big piece of furniture. Be sure to measure.
