Constructed from a combination of high quality, laminated composite woods, with attractive profiled MDF tops and moldings.

Bought this for my 13 year old daughter's room, she wanted it. I was afraid it would be cheap looking and low quality, boy was I wrong. It looks great and matches her furniture!!!! It is heavy (70 lbs.), and was well packed. Took me about 30 - 45 minutes to put it together, longest part was nailing the backpiece on the back. Matched up to our bedframe okay, our frame isn't straight at the point you connect, so had to force a little and scraped paint. Now, My 11 year old son wants one in black!!

We are very happy with the finish, look and feel of the headboard. My only warning is a contsruction warning: my husband pushed the dowel through the opposite side of the top of the headboard---he was working on carpet and the "give" kind of aggravated things. Anyway, that was our own fault. We are just going to lay a strip of molding over the top, and sort of make it like a bookstop for knickknacks. Still bummed, but it will work!

I am not very handy with tools, I put this together in less than an hour. It is very sturdy and very nice looking in my childs room. I am very pleased with the product and I think it will last for a long time to come.

This headboard is what it is, a good looking easy to assemble unit. We purchased this to go on the back of a Sleep Number bed where the back raises and lowers with a remote and needed a headboard that could stand on it's own ( we did attach the headboard to the bed frame). The unit was so easy to put together my only recommendation would be to put markings on the piece that goes on the back of the bookcase area to show where the nails should go. I was very careful nailing that piece on because I did not want to miss the wood and show a nail in the bookcase. After laying out all of pieces it took about 35-40 minutes put assemble. I would buy more pieces from this collection again.

We decided on a white bookshelf headboard for my 14 year old daughter's room to go with her new mattress and black, white and pink zebra themed bedding.I shopped around online and found this one to be within our budget and was attractive and perfect for a teenagers room. I put it together on my own and it was fairly simple to do. She loves it and so do her friends who like to hang out in her room.

This headboard looks great, is well designed, and the price is outstanding.Ordering process was smooth, [...]Assembling is simple if you have assembled any IKEA product. Just make sure to identify the pieces correctly, as the main parts have more-or-less the same dimensions. There are two screws for which I used a drill, the rest can be easily managed with a "manual" screwdriver.Yes, it is particleboard, but it is solid enough. I bought it for my son's bedroom. He has a full bed, and I initially thought the headboard would look awkward, but it doesn't.I'm very happy with my purchase!

Bubbles down under

Love the look of the headboard, wish it was taller, shelves hidden by pillows. Have some bubbles between laminate and pressed board, hoping to get top replaced since one bubble erupted through top creating crack - worried other bubbles will do the same eventually.
