Product had chips at the top edge, packaging by prepac has been terrible, I had nightstand also by prepac and one part had damage on it, otherwise it would have been very nice.

The pieces--shelves, sides, top, bottom--are very high quality. The approach assembly, though, is a bit too weak for such a heavy-duty unit. I anticipate that the fittings will have to be resecured with third-party hardware in the future.
It looks good--we were unsure about matching furniture off the web.

For the cost this bookcase is a good deal. It is certainly an upgrade from the inexpensive ones found in local office supply stores and discount retailers. The upper and side moldings give it more durability than cheaper models.
