Assembly of this bed is a two person job (not for the faint of heart) and must be done in the same room near the final position. The final assembled product is heavy and somewhat flimsy (easily comes out of square when moved around). If you assemble it in a different room, you WILL break it trying to pick it up to move it. My helper and I purchased furniture disks to put under it at each corner and along the middle of the long edges to make moving and adjusting easy. If you notice the drawers don't seem to close properly (e.g. all gapping on one side) you just need to square the whole bed up a little by sliding one end laterally to make the drawers line up better.
Overall, this bed is very attractive and comfortable and, most importantly, my 12 year old daughter loves it! The queen size with 6 drawers has solved a storage issue in her rrom and provides great functionality. Forget about it ever going to college with her, though, this bed will go out in the garbage when it has outlived its usefulness.
