We use this in the entry of our home. It works out wonderfully for us. It does not tip over when over weighted on one side and when not full of coats and hats it looks nice.

Have this in my front hall. It tends to loosen up quite easily and in Wisconsin, where winter coats are quite heavy, care must be taken re: weight distribution when hanging coats. Relatively pleased and would be perfect in a slightly warmer climate.

This coat rack is sturdy, practical and beautiful at the same time. I even use it for my son's baseball bats during Little League Season.
