Comments about Old Adirondack Adirondack Chair:
I was very pleased with the mechanics of purchasing this chair, but not so pleased with the mechanics of the chair itself. I'm sitting in it right now. It works. It arrived missing a couple of items from its hardware package, necessitating a trip to the hardware store. No problem. Many of the square-drive fasteners used in the chair's construction were loose the first week. Despite occasional retightening, multiple screws no longer respond to tightening. It's as though pilot holes were made too large. I'll have to replace some of them with larger fasteners, and it's still a decent chair, but I thing the quality was rated above average by adirondack furniture direct. I think either the rating is a little off, or I have a "friday afternoon" chair. I'm happy to purchase a made-in-the-region product, and once I get things to stay tight, I'll be happy with the chair, but I don't know if I'd recommend it to others as sustaining daily use.
