This product seems to be ideal for small spaces. I live in a studio apartment and the rack fits nicely into a corner.
Each shelf holds about 18 DVDs, 25 CDs, or 10 videotapes. Shelves are completely adjustable.
The product arrived in two boxes. Assembly wasn't difficult, and I consider myself to be somewhat of an idiot in such matters. It didn't take 5 minutes, but it certainly wasn't an eternity either.
The instructions were clear, but you should make sure to distinguish carefully the bottom two pieces and the top piece while working. (Experienced assemblers will have no problem, though!)
A hammer and screwdriver will complete the task nicely, though keep a pliers on hand in case you have to reverse a decision.
All screws, casters, etc. are in one bag, except for the special screw for the bottom of the unit, which is in a bag with the rotation wheel.
As one reviewer noted, the rotation wheel looks flimsy, but it seems to do the job very well.
All in all, a very good product. I've had it for just a few days now, but I am quite satisfied. It is sturdy, holds my collection, and spins very easily. It is also a nice looking piece of furniture.

First of all, this is not a "bad" product, but for near [$] I expected slightly higher grade pieces. Individually the pieces are just 1/2" vinyl covered particle board and the shelves are 3/8" thick MDF. The lazy susan turntable piece is of nylon and doesn't appear it should work at all, but it does. The directions are not very clear and it IS possible to assemble the sides wrong so that nothing lines up.The unit works as advertised and will hold considerable cds and dvds and the turntable actually works under load....amazing. [...] I would recommend this product only because of its ability to store music and video using this design, but would not recommend it be placed next to your better furniture.

The spinning storage rack is a really nice thing to have. If you do not have alot of space to put a storage unit but need to store alot of items this is it. It was easy to put together, even though there are alot of pieces. It stores alot of CD's and DVD's. I was able to combine three smaller ones into this unit and still have room to buy more.
