I bought this tv stand to go under my wall mounted flat screen. It has enough shelves to hold all our components. It is beautiful and very heavy and sturdy. It was delivered already assembled and placed in the room of my choice by the nice delivery men. It can make you nervous buying an expensive piece of furniture online, you don't know the quality, or the shape it will be in when it gets to you. Thankfullly, this tv stand exceeded all my expectations.
