THE PICTURE SHOWS A MEDIUM OAK FINISH. THE ACTUAL COLOR IS LIGHT OAK. I HAVE HAD THREE PEOPLE WHO DO WOOD STAINING LOOK AT THIS AND THEY ALL SAY IT IS NATURAL OAK WITH A CLEAR COAT FINISH. MEDIUM OAK IS MUCH DARKER!!!!!

After shopping several furniture stores and being quoted ridiculous prices for just a headboard, I decided to give Bedroom Furniture.com a chance. The headboard arrived earlier than I expected. It was very easy to assemble and it looks great. It's perfect for a kid's bedroom!
