The daybed is made of solid poplar wood. The lovely hue of the furniture quality finish is what will win you over, however. You simply won't believe the patina on the Cherry finish. The bottom-line? They don't make beds better than this.

Note:Some Fashion Bed Group Day Beds use link springs instead of box springs to support their mattresses. This allows for enough storage space for a trundle on many models. The trundle comes with a pop-up unit to bring it to the same height as the main mattress, creating a comfortable bed for multiple guests. Many of our day beds come with the link spring included, and if you decide to get the optional trundle, it will also have the link spring it requires.
