I AM SURE THAT AN OLDER, MORE DOCILE CHILD WOULD PLAY QUIETLY ON THIS SOFA/BED. MY 3 AND 4 YEAR OLD, VERY ACTIVE GRANDCHILDREN SAW IT AS A MINI TRAMPOLINE. WITHIN TWO WEEKS, BOTH OF THEIR SOFAS HAD TORN WHERE THE BACK MEETS THE SEAT CUSHION. IT WOULD DEPEND ON THE NATURE OF THE CHILD FOR WHOM YOU WOULD BE BUYING THIS. THE SIX YEAR OLD IS ENJOYING HIS WITHOUT INCIDENT.

Great for 4 year old and 20 month old to enjoy together. Plenty of room for both kids to lounge around on and watch movies. Also worked great for an added bed during a sleep-over. Only negative, is that it is slightly difficult to move from room to room.

My grandbaby is 18 mos old and loves this little couch. She sits on it with her dolls, opens it up and plays on it and closes it up again. Very entertaining for her as well as giving her her own space. She will eventually use it for sleeping but for now just enjoys playing on it. I recommend it highly.

I am very pleased with this very cute AND functional item.
My 3year old granddaughter loves it and finds her own imaginative uses for it beyond sitting and sleeping. Even my son, her Dad,opened it out on their last visit and lay on it while using his cell phone. When I re-entered the livingroom they were both laying on their backs with phones in their hands (her's a toy cordless). What an adorable Kodak moment!
