I bought this entire bedroom set for my 4 year old son (bed with bookcase headboard, dresser, armoire, nightstand, and the huge desk that they also make) and am thrilled. I had a new baby on the way so cheap was the way I was going. This set was a fraction of the cost of anything else so I was a little skeptical but I have had it for about a year now and am just thrilled with it. My son isn't too wild and doesn't spend that much time in his room but this set still looks like it did on day 1, and didn't just fall apart like I was afraid it might. I am very happy with it.

Great product, was able to set up in about four or five hours total time. Very sturdy, my 6yo son loves it, has lots of room in captain bed for toys and the dresser is very sturdy.

This bedroom set was an unbelievable deal. The only issue was the color. The picture on the website made it look like a lighter wood, but my wife describes it as a darker wood, even though it's a darker natural. The assembly took some time, but for the price I paid, it was well worth it. My son's room looks great with this set.

We got the bed w/ bookcase headboard and though we love the way it looks, my son (2 1/2) is a bit of a thrasher when he sleeps and he seriously injured his mouth and nose by getting too close to the ledge of the headboard. Being short, the bottom ledge comes close to their heads, so be careful with the headboard. We've taken it out of his room for a while until we figure out what to do.

not easy to assemble/inefficient instructions. Some holes missing, couldn't assemble some parts because of that.
Service and delivery comments:
They left everything outside of the door w/o calling before delivery as I asked. The confirmation email indicated I'll have the driver coming in and help w/ unwrapping/assembling the bed for 30 min, and I when I called to ask for that, I was told that service is only for the mattress. Does a mattress need assembly???

Well it took me a few days to get to it but my sons &i put the bed together in a 3-4 hour period maybe less cause i am pregnant and i needeD ood brakes! but my children are ten and six and i am a single mom. i put headboard and nite stand together on my own with no hassle. the directions were strait to the point. the only thing i messed up was mixing the drawer screws with one of the others that looked the same. of course the drawer screws need to be flat in order to fit in. so i have to replace the six screws when i have time .still need to buy second set for oldest son!

i bought this for my 20 month old son and it took a lil bit to put together but it was well worth it he can climb up and down n he sleeps in it all night.
